Our Fees

Our eligibility check is completely free. There is no charge for using our referral service, and you will never pay us directly.

If we introduce you to Parker Kerrigan — a trading style of Harcus Parker Limited, a law firm authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA No. 653501) — and they agree to take on your claim, the firm acts on a no-win, no-fee basis under a damages-based agreement (DBA): their fee is a percentage of the compensation actually recovered, payable only if your claim is successful. The exact fee will be disclosed to you in writing by Parker Kerrigan before you agree to instruct them.

Fees Are Capped

Parker Kerrigan's fee is banded by the amount of compensation recovered, subject to the statutory fee caps that apply to financial services claims:

  • Redress up to £1,499 — 30% + VAT, up to a maximum of £420
  • £1,500 to £9,999 — 28% + VAT, up to a maximum of £2,500
  • £10,000 to £24,999 — 25% + VAT, up to a maximum of £5,000
  • £25,000 to £49,999 — 20% + VAT, up to a maximum of £7,500
  • £50,000 and above — 15% + VAT, up to a maximum of £10,000

Parker Kerrigan is required to disclose their fees, the applicable cap, and any other charges before you enter into any agreement with them.

If your claim is not successful, you pay Parker Kerrigan nothing.

14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, when you enter into a contract with Parker Kerrigan at a distance (online, by phone, or by email), you have a statutory right to cancel that contract within 14 days of entering into it, without giving a reason and without charge — provided the firm has not yet carried out any work at your express request during that period.

Parker Kerrigan must provide you with written information about your cancellation rights before you sign any agreement. You should exercise your cancellation right directly with them, not with Blue Claims.

Cancellation After the 14-Day Period

If you cancel your claim after the 14-day cooling-off period, or if you asked Parker Kerrigan to begin work within that period and then cancel, any charges that could apply for work already carried out will be set out in your written agreement with Parker Kerrigan before you agree to proceed.

Referral Fee to Us

When we introduce you to Parker Kerrigan, the firm pays us a referral fee. This fee is not passed on to you and does not affect the amount of compensation you receive.

Your Right to Claim for Free

You do not need to use a solicitor or a claims management company to pursue a car finance claim. You can complain directly to your lender for free and, if you are not satisfied with the outcome, escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service at no cost. Using Parker Kerrigan does not necessarily mean your claim will be resolved more quickly or with a better prospect of success.
